I appreciate your post about this adapter. But doesn’t the plastic actually insulate the heat? Wouldn’t a metal adapter be a better option? As for the “openness” of the sides, all of the metal adapters I have seen are far more “open” than this plastic adapter.
Yes, a Metal one would be better. But at the time when writing this article 6 years ago that was not an option.
