How To Install Plex Media Server On Ubuntu 20.04

Ubuntu 20.04 Server Requirements
- A local physical server or VPS with Ubuntu 20.04.
- Minimum of 4 CPU cores.
- Minimum of 4GB ram.
- Minimum of 30GB storage.
- Minimum of 1 Network Adapter
- Ability to SSH into server as Root user.
- Fully Patched Ubuntu 20.04 Server

- Single 720p transcode: Intel Core i3 3.0 GHz
- Single 1080p transcode: Intel Core i5 3.0GHz
- Single 4K transcode: Intel Core i7 3.2GHz

- SSH into your ubuntu server with root.
- Use the following command to update app pool
sudo apt update
3. Use the following command to install Snapcraft.
sudo apt install snapd
4. Use this last command to install Plex Media Server on your Ubuntu 20.04 server.
sudo snap install plexmediaserver
5. Once the installation is complete you can manage your media by browsing to http://localhost:32400/manage .
